Crowns and Bridges

Porcelain crowns and bridges are tooth colored, enamel-like restorations fabricated by a highly skilled dental technician and permanently bonded to your existing tooth. Crowns cover the entire tooth surface to restore form, function, and beauty of original teeth. Crowns are needed when teeth are severely worn, fractured, or decayed. Porcelain dental crowns are inserted to protect a weak tooth from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth.

Bridges can be used to fill a space where a tooth is missing. Porcelain crowns and bridges are completed in two appointments.

Root Canal

Root canal treatments (also referred to as endodontic therapy) are necessary when an untreated dental cavity reaches the middle of the tooth or if trauma to a tooth causes nerve damage. Once the inside becomes infected, it can begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (known as an abscess).  This infection may become painful and will require treatment as it cannot heal on its own. Symptoms may include sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, pain, swelling, pain from biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes however, no symptoms are apparent and you may be unaware of any problem until a checkup. If you are experiencing symptoms of an infection, we would love to help you become comfortable today.
