Laser Dentistry

There are several advantages in using dental lasers. Dentists may not need to use a drill or administer anesthesia, allowing the patient to enjoy a more relaxed dental experience. Laser procedures can be more precise.  Lasers can also reduce symptoms and healing times associated with traditional instruments while reducing the amount of bacteria in both diseased gum tissue and in tooth cavities, as well as controlling bleeding during surgery.

Cone Beam CT

Our Prexion3D Cone Beam CT brings x-ray imaging to the next dimension by providing 3D images that allow us to safely diagnose and customize patient treatment like never before.  The Prexion3D combines the highest quality 3D images and the most powerful software in the industry, enhancing our implant planning, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, restorative, general dentistry, and much more.

  • How is it different?  Traditional 2D Panoramic and other dental x-rays are limited when compared to the 3D images that can show different angles and planes, allowing us to view any part of the patient’s anatomy from any direction.  The Prexion3D scanner offers enhanced accuracy, visibility, and predictability.  The results are a reduction in procedure, surgery, and anesthesia time, which ultimately translates into a quicker recovery.

The Prexion3D scan is completely painless and can dramatically reduce x-ray radiation exposure when compared to normal CT scanners and some older traditional dental x-ray machines.

Digital X-Rays/Intra-Oral Cameras

Digital Radiography is the safest way to take x-rays.  It reduces your exposure up to 90% and provides a clearer image.  This technology allows us to magnify and shade images to find cavities that may otherwise be hiding.  We will display your x-ray on the LCD screen and explain your individual treatment plan.

Intra-Oral Cameras fit inside your mouth and help the dentist and you see an enlarged image of your tooth from all aspects.

Laser (Early) Detection

Some teeth have soft or sensitive spots.  Instead of poking at them with sharp instruments, we can scan them with a laser to determine if the soft spot is a stain, a decalcification, or truly a cavity.  This allows us to detect and treat cavities when they are very small preventing larger fillings, and more importantly, require us to remove more tooth structure.

Non Latex Products

Non latex products minimize exposure and provide a superior level of safety for our patients with latex allergies.
